The Lenten Hiatus

I hope you all have not given up on me. It is just that it seemed the good thing to do to leave the blog alone at least for Lent.

Things in the parish have been hopping. We have a whole slew of projects underway. Lots of new folks. And obviously, Holy Week and Easter are upon us... Much to do...

We have been wrestling in the diocese over the plans for the formation of a new North American Anglican Province.

I've also got my hands full with the preparations for Saint Michael's Conference. It is time to register now for the conference (www.stmichaelsw.org). You can even do the entire registration online this year. Open to youth, ages 12-19, June 7-13, 2009 at Camp Crucis outside of Granbury, Texas.

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Saint Michael, defend us in the day of battle!
